Tips for planning your registration in advance

Preparation is a key part of any successful event. If you’re planning a conference, meeting or course at one of our venues, here are a few tips to ensure your event gets off on the right foot and goes without a hitch.

Special dietary requirements

Just like an army, an event marches on its stomach. Good quality food not only provides delegates with the fuel that they need to perform, high quality catering also helps to make them feel valued and gives them a better impression of the event.

To ensure that all of your delegates are well catered for, gather as much information as you can about dietary requirements before you register your event. The more information we have, the easier it will be for us to ensure that every delegate enjoys top quality catering throughout their stay.

Family facilities

If there will be families attending your event, it’s important to find out what their exact requirements are. Parents with small children may require a cot, while large families may need bunk beds, foldout beds or adjoining rooms to accommodate everyone in their party.

Delegates with disabilities

As all of our venues offer a range of accessible facilities, it’s easy for delegates with disabilities to find accommodation to suit their needs.

Asking for information about special needs of delegates and their exact requirements will help you to plan your event and create an inclusive environment. Providing us with all of the details in advance will help CCT prepare the appropriate bedrooms for everyone visiting our venues.

Deposits

Once you have a good idea of how many people will be attending your event and you’ve booked your CCT venue, it’s time to collect deposits from your delegates. These deposits will help you to secure your venue and will give you a firm idea of the number of people you can expect on the day.

CCT Event Manager

Keeping track of dietary requirements, accommodation needs and deposits can be hard, especially if this is your first event. To make your life easier, take advantage of the CCT Event Manager.

A useful programme available to all groups organising events at our venues, the web based system allows you to input information as and when you receive it. This will help to ensure that no information gets mislaid and that you have everything that you need to organise an unforgettable event.
