As the groups that use our venues have unique needs and requirements, we work hard to ensure our spaces cater to every situation. From large conferences rooms that are ideal for lectures, seminars and presentations, to smaller, more intimate areas that lend themselves perfectly to workshops, discussion groups, worship services and prayer meetings, CCT venues are as flexible as you need them to be.
One of our most unique rooms is The Chapel at The Hayes. A truly special meeting space, set in a quiet part of the site, offering delegates the perfect place to conduct prayer or worship meetings, or simply for quiet reflection away from the busyness of a conference.
Creating a special atmosphere
With its vaulted ceiling, wooden beams and large windows, The Chapel is an atmospheric space that’s flooded with natural light throughout the day. Its distinctive character helps it to stand out from other conference rooms, providing a fine setting for worship and a place for calm and peaceful reflection for all our visitors.
The Chapel is an incredibly flexible space, like many of the rooms at our venues. The room is capable of holding up to 320 people in a theatre seating arrangement, or it can be used for much smaller and more intimate get-togethers with alternative room layouts. The welcoming atmosphere and spacious feel makes it ideal for all types of meetings, worship and services.
Equipment and facilities
Groups planning a worship session at their next event can also use the Wurlitzer organ and the beautiful grand piano, or bring their own equipment into the space for other uses. Like all of the conference and meeting spaces at CCT venues, The Chapel is kitted out with a range of high tech AV equipment including a PA system with two fixed microphones, a cordless lapel mic, a twelve channel mixing desk and an induction loop for the hard of hearing. To project lyrics or sermon illustrations, two data projectors and a foldback screen are provided to ensure that your whole congregation has a good view.
