Improvements to AV equipment at High Leigh

When making a presentation, organising a seminar or taking part in a group event at a conference, it’s essential you can rely on your audio-visual equipment. You need to know that the mic will work every time, the screen will be compatible with your laptop and the PA system will help you to get your message across loud and clear.

As we host events every week of the year, we know what makes a conference run smoothly. So, to help ensure all of the organisations that use our beautiful High Leigh venue are able to run their events without a hitch, we’ve invested in upgrading our AV equipment, bringing it right up to date and giving our groups a conference space they can rely on.

LED screens

In order to make the AV equipment in our High Leigh conference spaces as reliable as possible, we’ve installed new LED screens in all our meeting rooms. Both VGA and HDMI connections are available allowing organisations using our spaces to use the screens quickly and easily, helping their presentations or seminars run smoothly.

Larger rooms have two screens at the front, offering all delegates a great view, with additional screens at the back so the presenter can see what is going on. As well as PC inputs, Blu-ray, DVD and CD players are also provided.

As our largest meeting room at High Leigh, Yew Tree Hall features two powerful projectors at the front with two LED screens at the back. This will make it easy for large groups to make the room work for them and should allow for dynamic and engaging events.

Audio equipment

To help speakers and delegates to get their message across, we have lecterns complete with Gooseneck microphones in all our larger rooms. We’ve also provided these spaces with one or more cordless mics as well as cordless lapel mics and induction loops.

The larger conference rooms at High Leigh also have HDMI and VGA inputs at both the front and back of the spaces, as well as Blu-ray and CD players, a 16 or 22 channel mixing desk and an audio sound system with multiple speakers. What’s more, all these rooms at High Leigh now have SD and USB recorders.

With all of the AV equipment on offer at High Leigh available to organisations using the space free of charge, it’s easy for groups to plan and execute high quality events at our site. For full details of the AV equipment available in each room, please see our Conference Halls.
