Sustainability is important to us at CCT and to many of the groups and organisations that use our centres. We are committed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and at The Hayes and High Leigh we’ve been able to go a step further with the installation of new charging points for electric vehicles (EV). A fantastic green resource, the charging points will help our environmentally-conscious guests get home easily at the end of their stay.
As electric car drivers will know, all too often these charging points aren’t always in very convenient places. Charging an EV can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours, so it’s important that charging points are located in places that are easily accessible when staying away from home.
This is what makes the new charging points at The Hayes and High Leigh so convenient. Guests can plug their vehicles in for as long as they need to and as there’s no need to leave the centres to find a charging point, drivers can simply plug their vehicle in and get on with their day, safe in the knowledge that their battery is charging up whilst they enjoy their event at the centre.
For those visiting The Hayes or High Leigh for just an hour or two, rapid charging will help to ensure the vehicle is nicely topped up with energy so that the driver can continue their journey safely.
Installing the charging points for electric vehicles at The Hayes and High Leigh is part of our continued efforts to make our venues kind to the environment and convenient for our guests.
