Here at CCT we’re always on the lookout for ways to make our venues better, over the last few months The Hayes has seen many improvements, with more planned for the new year. In this post we share just some of our exciting developments.
New family bedrooms
To ensure all delegates staying at The Hayes feel welcome and comfortable, the Lakeside Accommodation block has recently had a makeover with a full redecoration and brand-new beds. We now have 32 new family rooms available, after upgrading all our twin rooms to include family friendly facilities. The ground floor location makes the stay for families even more convenient as they no longer have to climb to the second floor of the main house. These updates provide comfortable spaces, for children and grownups alike, to relax and unwind.
Garden lounge and bar
The garden lounge and bar area have both had makeover. The garden lounge renovations are nearing completion as we await the new furniture range, due to arrive by the end of the month. New wines and upgraded spirits and mixers have been added to the bar, making sure there is something on offer for everyone to enjoy. The results offer delegates the ideal place to relax, socialise and network at the end of a busy day.
Lakeside ground floor bedrooms
Visitor feedback is always appreciated and in response to recent comments received we have installed sockets with USB charging ports at the bed head of Lakeside bedrooms. Ideal for charging iPads, iPhones, tablets and cameras, adding to the wealth of facilities on offer at the venue.
The first stages of the Lakeside bedroom refurbishments have been completed, so far 30 of the 95 bedrooms have had acoustic treatment implemented to the ceiling and floors for sound reduction. This means all can enjoy a peaceful space for a welcome retreat after an eventful day. Plus, these rooms have been fully redecorated with new carpets, curtains, armchairs, bed and bedding, the full works!
During the course of the year, the next two floors will also be refurbished, which will complete the refurbishment of the Lakeside bedrooms. Following on from this, we have plans for the Lakeside Reception to be given a makeover in the same palette as the bedrooms creating a consistent, refreshed and modern appeal.
That’s not all…
During the next 18 months the Derbyshire Suite will get a full makeover. Starting with the installation of three coffee machines, saving delegates the added pressure of going to the Main House, enabling them to rest and recharge on breaks.
All syndicate rooms will be refreshed to create modern and inviting spaces and the breakout areas will see the addition of comfortable chairs for visitors to enjoy a quick coffee, make a call or just sit and catch up with colleagues.
