Top tips for branding your event

June 2018

The branding at your event can help your organisation to look more professional and help to create a sense of pride among your delegates. It can also serve to ensure that delegates can recognise rooms, speakers and events quickly and easily and help to give the conference its own look and feel and its own identity.

If you’re planning a conference or an event at a CCT venue and have begun thinking about how you’re going to make the most of banners, AV equipment and other accessories, take a look at our top tips for branding your event.

Pop-up banners

Pop-up banners are incredibly useful when it comes to branding an event. They’re easy to move around, you can place them wherever you need them and wherever they’re going to have the most impact. Most pop-up banners can be put up quickly and pack away into small, easy to carry bags when it’s time to head home.

Sign posting

Letting your delegates know they are going in the right direction by using branded signage also adds to a consistent and professional look for your event. Place your pop-up banners by the reception area so that delegates know they’re in the right place as soon as they arrive. You can also place banners in communal areas and in conference halls and meeting rooms. As well as promoting your event and your organisation’s name, these banners can also be used to inform delegates about the event, or a brief overview of the organisation.

AV equipment

As well as being a great way to illustrate and enhance presentations, seminars and meetings, AV equipment can be used to help brand your conference. For example, whenever the AV equipment isn’t being used by a speaker or for an event, it can be utilised to display your organisation’s branding. Create a still image or a slideshow that can be projected onto the screens in your meeting room or conference hall whenever the AV equipment isn’t needed.

As all of the rooms and halls at CCT venues come with AV equipment included, this is an easy, affordable and effective way to make your event stand out from the crowd.

Branding your event at a CCT venue

When it comes to branding, CCT venues have a number of advantages over hotel-style locations. There are fewer limitations in what we allow at a CCT venue, for example we are happy for you to bring in branding such as pop-up banners for use around your registration desks and outside your meeting rooms. This gives you flexibility when using the space and equipment available, something that can make a big difference when branding your event.
