High Leigh was originally built in 1853 and acquired by Christian Conference Trust in 1922, nearly 100 years ago. Since then the building has not stood still and has been refurbished and expanded many times over. Today’s needs have changed from those a generation ago and it’s time to invest again in the grand main house of High Leigh.
Over £1m is being spent on preparing the centre for future generations, to make it accessible for all our guests and to create meeting spaces with the latest technology and elegant décor.
By the spring of 2022, the new Centenary Tower and upstairs areas of the main house will be reopened for guests to enjoy. There will be lift access to the first-floor meeting rooms, accessible WCs and improved access to Yewtree our largest hall. New meeting rooms will be equipped with large LED TVs, built-in surround sound and state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities.
With increasing demand from many of our guests for luxury facilities, we will shortly be launching High Leigh Signature, our premium offering with stunningly refurbished first-floor meeting rooms overlooking our beautiful gardens and a brand-new lounge area and servery for exclusive buffet lunches and fine dining. This will be available for day delegates as well as residential guests who will benefit from our recently completed new accommodation wing. These new quality bedrooms all come with air-conditioning and walk-in showers. Signature guests will enjoy enhanced private dining and complimentary snacks throughout their stay.
2022 is shaping up to be an exciting time for High Leigh as we celebrate 100 years of welcoming guests. The investment we are making now will ensure that we remain the premier choice for conferencing and events.
