To mark 100 years of christian conferencing, the long running BBC television series, Songs of Praise, came to High Leigh for a day of filming, interviews, football, and of course, songs!
High Leigh is more than a conference centre. It is a place where believers of all denominations come together and explore their faith. In our centenary year, Songs of Praise wanted to showcase Christian unity through exploring our history and talking to our CEO, John Heasman, about how we are looking to the future.
Viewers of Songs of Praise can expect to meet some of our groups including Emmanu’-EL Apostolic Gospel Academy who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and are in the running for BBC’s Gospel Choir of the Year and Brentwood Church from the USA.
