CCT launches Belsey Bridge Conference Centre

November 2009

CCT officially launched Belsey Bridge Conference Centre on Monday 2nd November.

Previously known as St. Gabriel’s Conference Centre, the Centre has now been transferred to CCT from the Community of All Hallows. All existing bookings are being honoured and the existing staff have transferred with the Centre, ensuring continuity. To mark the occasion, a specially commissioned aerial photograph was presented by Michael Page (Chairman of CCT) to Mother Elizabeth (Community of All Hallows).

Belsey Bridge, 12 miles south of Norwich, offers residential and day conference facilities for up to 110 delegates. The Centre already boasts superb catering, a range of meeting rooms that have just been fitted with the latest audio-visual equipment and wireless internet newly installed across the site. Forty-one bedrooms are en-suite (thirty-five of these being for single persons), with the rest of the bedrooms offering standard accommodation. Already the Centre is offering good facilities at affordable prices and this is something CCT is keen to build upon.

David Patey, Business Manager of the Community of All Hallows, said: “The Christian Conference Trust is a specialist provider of conference facilities with a strong reputation. We have been in discussion with the Trust over recent months and have benefitted from their help and advice in that time. The Conference Centre has an important regional role in supporting a wide range of church and community activities and I hope and believe that it will go from strength to strength as part of CCT.”

Brian Cupples, General Manager of the Christian Conference Trust, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to build on the work already undertaken by the Community of All Hallows and take the Centre forward into the future, for the benefit of the whole Christian community and the wider community in the region. The Centre has many excellent attributes and is a secret that many churches and organisations in the surrounding area have not yet discovered.”
