Are you looking for a venue with spacious meeting rooms, delicious food and a warm environment? Look no further than Christian Conference Trust. As a charity that has over 100 years of serving the Christian family, we know what it means to "get it right". Price is important too, so here are six reasons why we’re better value than a hotel.
Let's get straight to the point. Our prices are on average 54% lower than hotels*, which sets us apart. We are a not-for-profit organisation with the primary aim of serving the Church and seeing ministry grow. This means our focus is on how we can make conferencing with us as attainable as possible.
We all agree that coffee and tea are a must during a conference. However, paying extra for coffee really racks up the price. We are happy to offer unlimited hot drinks throughout your stay as part of our all-inclusive price. But wait, there's more! Homemade cakes will be brought out during your coffee breaks to accompany your hot drinks.
Food can make or break your time away. Not only can food quality put you off, but extortionate pricing can too. At a hotel, you will pay extra when adding meals to your conference price. Here at Christian Conference Trust, we not only offer 3 hot meals a day as part of our all-inclusive price; we take care of your food allergies and preferences with a choice of delicious alternatives free of charge! Are you still not convinced we're better value than a hotel? See what our guests have to say:
Have you ever tried booking a conference and had to hire A/V equipment? Say goodbye to that concept because here at our venues, you can use our sound desks, screens, mics and more completely free of charge!

Have you ever visited a hotel that is beautiful on the inside but lacks character on the outside? Or you've wanted to spend time in nature during a hotel conference but been surrounded by concrete and roads? At our venues, we have stunning buildings with over 100 years of history and an abundance of gorgeous grounds to explore, drink coffee in, or play sports.
Bought in 1911, The Hayes has been serving as a Christian conference centre for over 100 years. It became a POW camp during WW2 but was then recommissioned as a conference centre after the war. Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with convenient road and rail links, The Hayes is perfect for residential conferences for up to 400 delegates, team meetings, church weekends away, youth group breaks, exhibitions and training events. With over 60 acres of land, 2 lakes and a passionately maintained garden, our guests have lots to explore.
High Leigh was sold to First Conference Estate (now known as Christian Conference Trust) in 1921 to serve the Church. This stunning building set on beautiful grounds in Hertfordshire specialises in residential and day conferences for up to 220 delegates. With 40 acres of lawns, parkland and woodland, the tranquil surroundings provide the perfect space for your delegates to relax, equip and connect.
It is important to us that you feel welcome and at home. Part of feeling at ease is knowing you can pray and worship in peace. With our large meeting rooms and respectful staff, you can do just that. Having a comfortable atmosphere when conferencing is priceless, which makes Christian Conference Trust venues better value than a hotel. Since we have been serving Christian groups for over 100 years we know how best to serve and accommodate you.
