A place to relax during your conference

September 2023

At the end of a long day during your conference, what you need is a comfortable place to relax and unwind. Perhaps you want a drink from the bar or a place to catch up with friends. Whether you’re at High Leigh or The Hayes, we have just the place for you.

The Ellen Lounge at High Leigh

The Ellen Lounge is quietly tucked away upstairs next to the Sycamore Suite. Its tasteful décor and warm lighting create the perfect environment to unwind. Whether you’re playing a board game with your family, drinking your morning coffee, or getting lost in a book; make sure to use this beautiful space.

The Lounge at The Hayes

While staying at The Hayes, you will come across The Lounge. This is located downstairs to the right of reception (you can’t miss it)! Although this stunning lounge was refurnished and updated in 2021, you’ll find the original fireplace and marble pillars from the early 1900s. If you’re looking for a place to relax, look no further.

The Woodlands Lounge at High Leigh

Formally known as the Drawing Room, the Woodlands Lounge isn’t your everyday front room. From the leftover marks of tape put up on the windows during WW2, to the original table and chairs that still stand from the 1920s; this stunning room will charm you with its beauty and history. The best part about the Woodlands Lounge is its marvellous view of the grounds.

The Upstairs Lounge at The Hayes

You may be surprised to hear there’s yet another lounge at The Hayes. The Upstairs Lounge is, yes you’ve guessed it, upstairs! Recently refurbished with new furniture and lighting, this peaceful room is where you want to be if you’re looking for quiet. Located directly above The Lounge, it is equipped with comfortable seating and a large table and chairs, perfect for those board game evenings.
