The Hayes Conference Centre in Derbyshire has multiple large meeting halls perfect for church worship gatherings, one of which is the Derbyshire Hall. Being the largest hall at The Hayes, it can seat up to 400 people theatre-style. This space has a foyer area complete with coffee machines, toilets and 9 breakout rooms.
The Derbyshire Hall has hosted large groups such as Limitless, Ground Level Network and Salvation Army. Equipped with a full AV/PA set-up, this venue is ideal for Christian worship events.

High Leigh Conference Centre in Hertfordshire features Yew Tree Hall, a bright and airy meeting hall which can seat 220 people theatre-style. It is perfect for church family retreats and has plenty of space for a full band.
This meeting space includes raised staging, a full AV/PA set-up, a piano and more! There’s easy access to toilets and breakout rooms, and it opens out onto High Leigh’s beautiful grounds.

One of our best venues for Christian worship events is the Butterley Hall at The Hayes. This large meeting space can seat 300 people theatre-style. One of its unique features is the ability to split in two with the sound-proof dividers, seating 140 people in each. Both sides of the Butterley Hall are equipped with their own full AV/PA set-ups featuring Airtame 2 (wireless display technology) and two 86” 4k screens.
Butterley Hall has two syndicate rooms at the back, perfect for children’s work, book stalls and more. Both ends are equipped with a grand piano and a raised stage perfect for worship sets.
At High Leigh there is the Barclay Hall which can seat 100 people theatre-style. Named after Robert Barclay, the previous owner of High Leigh, this room has a full AV/PA set up including 3 LED screens, a digital Yamaha piano, induction loop and more.
Being on the ground floor, this meeting hall is wheelchair accessible and easy to get to. The bar and coffee area are right around the corner.
These are just a few of the many large meeting rooms we have at The Hayes and High Leigh. Our all-inclusive venues are well-equipped to take care of your group from A/V needs to 3 hot meals per day. We are half the price of commercial venues* because we believe no one should miss out on in-person gatherings.
