Who are Paddy & Scott’s?
The creators of Lunch Box coffee, Paddy & Scott’s, began in 2007 with a heart to make the coffee trade fairer for farmers in poorer coffee-growing regions such as Kenya. They started partnering with these farmers to create a traceable, fair connection between the coffee we drink and the farmers harvesting the beans. They’ve not only invested in these farms but have poured their profits into improving school facilities and providing meals for the farmers’ children.
What is Lunch Box coffee?
Paddy & Scott’s noticed that children in coffee-growing countries were going to school hungry every day without the proper nutrients they needed. To tackle this problem they launched Lunch Box, a bag of coffee beans where every bag sold provides a meal for a child in coffee-growing regions.
This initiative has funded school meals across India, Kenya and Tanzania, having recently reached 400,000 meals!
Where do we fit into this?
Our coffee machines are constantly filled to the brim with Lunch Box coffee beans. That means every coffee you drink, whether you’re at The Hayes, High Leigh or Highgate House, will be supporting this mission to feed the hungry. We are proud to be directly supporting this great cause and you can be at peace as a coffee drinker knowing every sip you take is one sip closer to a brighter future for a hungry child.
