Perhaps you want wide open spaces for outdoor games or a meeting hall that’ll fit your large congregation. Our state-of-the-art venues have everything you need for your Summer conference. The Hayes, Derbyshire

Located in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside sits The Hayes, a historic manor house built over 150 years ago. Being our largest centre, it is ideal for residential conferences for up to 400 delegates.

The grounds

The Hayes sits on 100 acres of award-winning gardens and grounds, surrounded by farmland. With 2 lakes, an orchard and many trails to walk around, there’s plenty for your delegates to explore during their stay. We are committed to supporting our local wildlife and you’ll see lots of it at The Hayes!

Meeting space

The Hayes has 4 large conference halls and over 20 meeting rooms. The largest meeting space is the Derbyshire Hall seating up to 400 delegates. Next in line is the Main Conference Hall which can seat up to 320 people. All of our meeting halls are fully kitted out with audio/visual equipment and mics, cables and more can be hired for free!

Leisure

The Hayes has a large field with 5-aside football nets and a volleyball net perfect for your summer games. There is croquet on the main lawn and an outdoor play area at the Clubhouse. Table tennis and pool are available as well as board games. Up at the Derbyshire Suite we have a sports hall with 5-aside football and badminton nets. Our firepits are located just off the main lawn and our gym is found in the main house area available for delegates 18+.

There are multiple comfortable places to relax; The Lounge, the Upstairs Lounge, the Vinery and the bar. Down by the lakes, there are some seating areas perfect for your morning coffee and if you take a stroll up to the Chapel, you’ll come across the prayer labyrinth, a quiet outdoor space.

Highgate House, Northamptonshire

This former coaching inn is the newest addition to our family and dates back to 1663. Highgate House is located in the serene countryside of Northamptonshire and includes 16 meeting spaces, the largest seating up to 200 people.

The grounds

Highgate House has 23 acres of beautifully maintained gardens. The spacious front lawn and surrounding farmland provide a relaxing environment for your guests to discover. Trails leading through the surrounding farmland are just on Highgate House’s doorstep.

Meeting space

Highgate House features 16 meeting spaces each varying in size. The largest is Aspen, large enough to seat up to 200 people theatre-style or 100 cabaret-style. The 2nd largest meeting room is Annerley which can seat up to 70 people. Just like The Hayes, these meeting spaces are fully decked out with all the audio/visual equipment you’ll need for your conference.

Leisure

Highgate House has a large garden perfect for sunny afternoon lawn games such as badminton and croquet. There are walking trails leading through the surrounding farmland and the quaint village of Creaton to explore just down the road. A gym is available for delegates 18+ and for younger guests, you’ll find a Junior Clubhouse with games and indoor space to let off steam.

Highgate House has a number of comfortable places to relax such as the stunning lounge area featuring comfortable sofas and an open fireplace as well as a bar. The Baronial Hall is the perfect place to catch up with an old friend while overlooking the grounds.

High Leigh, Hertfordshire

Since 1922, this historical manor house has been welcoming Christian groups and organisations. High Leigh can host residential and day conferences for up to 220 delegates and maintains the quality synonymous with Christian Conference Trust venues.

The grounds

The centre’s 40-acre tranquil setting is one of the things that makes High Leigh so popular, giving delegates plenty of space to relax, unwind and reflect on everything they’ve learned during the day. Your guests will love exploring the landscaped gardens, woodland, rockery and cave. There’s also a sunken pump house to discover and the rock arch that leads people back towards the house from the wooded part of the gardens which are still there today.

Meeting space

High Leigh has 6 meeting halls and 16 meeting rooms. Yew Tree Hall, being the largest meeting hall, can seat up to 220 people. This is followed by Barclay Hall which can seat up to 100 people. Just like our other venues, High Leigh is fully equipped with all the audio/visual equipment you need.

Leisure

High Leigh has lots of open outdoor space including a 5-aside football pitch and a fitness trail. For rainy days there is a Games Room complete with a pool table and board games as well as a Cinema Room for those fun movie nights! High Leigh has a gym for delegates 18+.

There are multiple lounge areas including the Woodlands Lounge which overlooks the beautiful grounds and the Ellen Lounge located upstairs away from noise and distractions. There is a bar and coffee area just like The Hayes and Highgate House.
