CCT is committed to working alongside the groups that use our Centres to assist delegates who need financial support in order to attend a conference or event. To achieve this we operate a Bursary Fund that is open to any Christian organisation with a booking at any one of the Centres. All we ask is that organisations have established their own Bursary Fund or other similar means to subsidise delegates.
Two recent clients explain how they have enabled delegates to attend who otherwise may not have been able to benefit from attending a conference:
“Christians Against Poverty were delighted to return with a group of over 100 people. For many of them it was the first holiday they had ever had and everyone enjoyed a chance to relax in the beautiful surroundings away from the pressure and stress that debt brings…..We were once again blessed with a generous donation from the CCT bursary fund which enabled us to support even more families”.
“Family Christian Centre are eternally grateful for the bursary received from CCT. With the funds received, we were able to reach a number of youth, struggling with finances mainly due to deprived family homes and those with less or no income from single parent homes”.
