After 33 years with CCT, Brian Cupples has taken early retirement. For over 25 of these years Brian (far right of picture) was General Manager of CCT and spearheaded the transformation of each Centre. Brian explains:
“My main legacy has been to bring the facilities up to date; when I arrived The Hayes had four en-suite bedrooms and High Leigh had none. Now, The Hayes has 247 en-suite rooms, High Leigh has 134 en-suite rooms and Belsey Bridge has 46 en-suite rooms. Without these improvements along with new receptions, conference halls and meeting rooms, CCT may not have been viable and may well have been forced into closure as many other Christian centres unfortunately have been”.
Michael Page, Chair of the Board of Trustees comments further:
“CCT has been transformed over the years and I thank God for the vision and drive that He gave to Brian to achieve this. In many ways he has been both the architect and developer of so much of what we now able to offer at each Centre and for this reason we owe him a great debt. John Harrison took over from Brian and became Chief Executive in 2012 and the trustees are excited by how John and his team are leading the next chapter for CCT”.
