The Lea Valley Park
High Leigh is only a 5-minute drive from the Lea Valley Park. This stunning area of lakes, rivers and countryside offers hundreds of things to see and do for adults and children of all ages.
At Broxbourne you can take an organised canal trip or hire a wide range of boats. The Herts Young Mariners Base at Cheshunt offers wide-open lakes for youth groups to try their hand at sailing or canoeing.
Broxbourne Woods is only a 10-minute walk from High Leigh. This ancient woodland covers 239 hectares and makes up Hertfordshire's National Nature Reserve.

For those looking for something more adventurous, check out the Essex Outdoors in Harlow. There are numerous team building activities, including climbing and water based activities. For petrol heads there is Rye House Kart Raceway, and for families Paradise Wildlife Park with its amazing animals and dinosaurs should not be missed.
